Sound the Trump is a music library and record label in honor of my late father, Joseph Peery, who passed away from cancer in January 2019.
Despite being a very successful and busy man, my father always made ample time to spend with his family. It was obvious to everyone who met him where his priorities were and how much joy he found in supporting his loved ones. Even with his treatments getting worse, he insisted on going with me on every college trip, concert, and competition I had. It was clear to me there was nowhere he would rather be. He had a unique ability to connect with people and shaped so much of the man I want to become. Until the end, he had hope, showing a strength I think few possess. My father was one of the most important people in my life, and I believe we will all be united with our loved ones again when the trump has sound.
